Course Fees

  • A 2% discount is given on tuition and accommodation fees if all fees are paid by 31 September 2017.
  • The School of Ministry is not a University validated course and as such, no financial support is available in the form of student loans or grants for students studying on this course.
  • Funding for postgraduate studies is only available to students who are resident in England.
  • Room accommodation is offered on a full board basis for the period of the academic year (September to April) for campus based students and includes all meals in the College dining room. There is no “no meal” option.
  • All flats are self contained and are offered on a self catering basis. Flats are available for occupation all year round if required. All accommodation is offered subject to availability.
  • There is a £200 deposit payable per person for students renting rooms, and £400 deposit for those renting flats and a £100 deposit for all other students. These deposits are refundable providing the accommodation is left in a satisfactory condition on your exit and all outstanding fees are paid; including accommodation charges, library fees and additional usage charges. Please note that wilful damage or negligent damage which you may cause to other items of College property outside of your room, may also lead to part of your deposit being retained. (For example breakage of chairs or sofas in the student lounges.)
  • A range of flats are available on campus from studio apartments to a 3 bedroom cottage. These are primarily used by families or married couples. Children are welcome on campus. Alternatives to rent property from local people are available. Please ask for details.
  • First year campus based students are normally expected to live on campus although exceptions are made where appropriate, particularly for families and married couples.
  • Students who live within daily travelling distance of the campus are able to study on a non-residential basis.
  • Campus based students living off campus will be charged a non residents fee which covers the use of the library, computer suite, personal internet access and hard-drive storage space and use of leisure facilities including swimming pool, tennis courts, gym, sports fields, pool table and student centres.
  • The College Registration Fee is payable with your acceptance of our offer of a place and is non refundable.
  • The Registration Fee to the University of Chester is payable annually. We reserve the right to increase this fee without notice, should an increase be imposed upon the College by the University.
