Job Title: Marketing Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Operations Director, the role is primarily responsible for the development and implementation of effective marketing strategies to recruit 85-100 new students each year across all courses and modes of study.
  • Building, developing and implementing an annual marketing plan and leading the College team in the delivery of the components of that plan.
  • Enhancing awareness of and engagement with the College both within Elim and beyond in the wider Christian marketplace.
  • Management of the marketing and promotional budget.
  • Ongoing development of the College’s website, use of SEO techniques and further enhancement of the College’s social media presence.
  • Overseeing the delivery of Just Looking open days and other marketing events.
  • Attendance at exhibitions and conferences to represent the College and market its courses to delegates and obtain new leads.
  • Following up of contacts and enquiries, primarily over the telephone.
  • Overseeing the development of printed marketing material, writing content for brochures, flyers and adverts.
  • Preparing content for articles for inclusion.in press and magazines.
  • Development of video promotional content and other high quality marketing imagery for use in a variety of marketing applications.

Job Title: Housekeeping Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Operations Director, the role takes lead responsibility for the cleaning of the Elim site, preparation of conference bedrooms and meeting rooms to hotel standards and managing the team of house-keepers who undertake this work. 37.5 hours per week – days and hours of work flexible depending on business need. Week-end and sometimes evening working will be required.
  • Lead responsibility for cleaning and presentation of all buildings on the Malvern campus including cleaning of offices, public spaces and toilets and providing a full housekeeping service to the conference centre on a daily basis 
  • Ongoing recruitment, selection, training and development of house-keeping staff.
  • Allocation of staff resources on a daily basis to ensure that all housekeeping duties are delivered in a high quality and timely manner.
  • Management of physical resources including the laundry and its commercial laundry machines, linen, chemicals and storage in accordance with COSHH requirements.
  • Management of resources within agreed budgets, negotiating with suppliers, purchase of chemicals, linen and other equipment as required.
  • Responsible for waste contracts on site.
